professional organizations, and nonprofit services.
The firm helps to sponsor and support two pro
bono legal clinics: The East County Legal Clinic
located in the Portland Metropolitan area; and the Catholic
Community Charities Clinic located in Seattle. The firm's
attorneys regularly volunteer their time at these clinics.
Firm members also support charitable
organizations such as the American Red Cross, Friends
of the Children, the Oregon Chapter of the American
Cancer Society and American Lung Association, Loaves
& Fishes (food for the housebound), the Salvation
Army, Oregon Health Sciences University, SOLV, New Avenues
For Youth and the "Outside-In" Drop-In Clinic
(assisting Portland's "street" kids), the
Senior Law Project (helping senior citizens), and the
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
The
firm supports cultural activities through both corporate
sponsorship and attorney involvement. Examples of these
activities are the Oregon Ballet Theatre, Oregon Public
Broadcasting, the Oregon Symphony, Northwest Business
for Culture and Art, and the Northwest Regional China
Council.
