Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt invites you to a full-day employment boot camp for managers, human resources professionals, and business owners. This program is a valuable seminar covering virtually all aspects of the employer–employee relationship from hiring to firing and everything in between. We will provide you with a basic understanding of the employment laws that matter to most businesses, and provide you with practical tips and steps to help you handle difficult situations. Among the topics that we will cover are:

  • Managing the Hiring Process
  • Preventing and Addressing Complaints of Discrimination and Harassment
  • Understanding How to Pay Employees: Wage, Hour, Compensation, and Break Laws
  • Maintaining Personnel Records
  • Working With Employees with Disabilities
  • Evaluating Employees to Help Them Be Successful
  • Minimizing Risks with Employee Terminations

Managers without extensive human resources experience will learn how they can be better managers and how they can best use their human resources professionals.
