Schwabe Adds Three New Associate Attorneys in Portland

OverviewRegional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt recently added Andrea M. Barton, Katie M. Eichner and Jennifer E. Franks as associate attorneys in the firm's Portland office.
"These three talented new attorneys are an excellent addition to the firm," said Mark Long, managing partner at Schwabe. "Each brings her own unique talents and focuses, and we are eager to see them succeed in their practices."
Andrea Barton focuses her practice in the area of product liability and assists the litigation team in defending sellers and distributors against product-related personal injury, property loss and economic loss claims. She was a summer associate at Schwabe in 2008 and an extern for Chief Justice Paul De Muniz of the Oregon Supreme Court in 2007. Barton graduated from Notre Dame Law School with a juris doctor degree.
Katie Eichner focuses her practice in the area of commercial litigation where she assists clients in anticipating and resolving disputes arising from business and financial relationships. She was a summer associate at Schwabe in 2008 and in 2007 was a summer associate at Miller Nash. Eichner graduated from Stanford Law School with a juris doctor degree.
Jennifer Franks focuses her practice in the areas of condemnation and land use. She represents clients throughout the condemnation process, both prior to initiation of condemnation proceedings and during those proceedings. Franks graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School. Before law school, she was a molecular biologist and worked at Oregon Health & Science University.Prior to joining Schwabe, Franks was a law clerk at Bonneville Power Administration.
