The Seattle office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt recently added Claire Been as an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group.

“I am extremely pleased to have Claire join the firm’s commercial litigation practice,” said Mark Long, managing partner at Schwabe.  “Claire is a bright star and I am excited to see her talents benefit the firm’s clients.

Been is experienced in trial preparation, which includes preparing responses and reviewing case files, including depositions and transcripts.  Additionally, she has experience conducting witness interviews.  Been was formerly a 2008 summer associate with Schwabe.  Prior to joining Schwabe as an associate, she worked in the risk management department at Vulcan, Inc., a Seattle-based investment and project management company founded in 1986 by Paul Allen.  Been graduated from the University of Washington School of Law with a juris doctor degree.
