Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt Joins International Alliance of Law Firms
OverviewThis month, regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt expanded its ability to provide the highest quality legal services to clients around the globe through its admittance to the International Alliance of Law Firms (IALF).
"We are very excited to be part of this international network of phenomenal law firms," said Mark Long, Schwabe's managing partner. "This new membership will allow us to continue to provide our clients with the highest levels of service and knowledge."
The IALF is a network of mid-sized law firms founded to provide clients with global legal services. The common aim of the Alliance is to combine positive legal advice with sound commercial judgment and litigation expertise. Each Alliance member firm seeks to provide clients with a swift and effective response to the challenges of international business requirements. The IALF has 58 member firms in 42 countries.
"The decision to add Schwabe corresponds perfectly with our global business plan to serve corporate clients worldwide," said Monica Oathout, president of the Alliance and a partner with the Houston firm of Schwartz, Junell, Greenberg & Oathout, LLP. "We thought long and hard about the right ‘fit' for us in the Pacific Northwest, one of the critical markets for our firms worldwide. We wanted a firm that had a sophisticated business perspective, with industry and client references that match our group."
