Leora Coleman-Fire Joins Q-Center Board

Leora Coleman-Fire, an associate in the Portland office of Schwabe, ‎Williamson & Wyatt, recently joined the board of directors for Portland's Q-Center.

The Q-Center's vision is a broadened positive perception of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ‎queer (LGBTQ) people. Its mission is to provide a safe space to support and celebrate LGBTQ diversity, ‎visibility and community building. Q-Center offers multi-generational programs and services in four core ‎areas: arts and culture; education and training; health and wellness; and advocacy. The board of ‎directors provides governance to fulfill Q-Center's mission and vision. Coleman-Fire's board position is ‎for a two-year term.‎

Coleman-Fire focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment law. She is experienced in pretrial ‎and trial motions, along with providing legal research and writing memoranda, and document review. ‎Prior to entering the legal profession, she provided healthcare services to the underserved through ‎AmeriCorps and worked as the manager of a diabetes research group. She received her juris doctor ‎degree from Lewis & Clark Law School. ‎
