The Best Lawyers in America list for 2014 has been announced and four lawyers in the Portland office of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt were designated as “Lawyers of the Year” in their respective practice areas for the Portland metro region. The four lawyers are:

• William B. Crow – commercial, product liability and antitrust litigation
• Paul DeMuro – health care law
• Kirk Johansen – natural resources and timber law
• Thomas Tongue – corporate law, insurance law, mergers and acquisitions

Those honored as Lawyers of the Year received particularly high ratings among peers for their abilities, professionalism and integrity. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community receives the distinction of Lawyer of the Year. These distinctions are in addition to the 53 Schwabe attorneys who were named to the overall Best Lawyers in America list for 2014.
