Ricoy and Howell Appointed as Leaders in ‎American Bar ‎Association (ABA) Health Law Section

Congratulations to Peter Ricoy and Bruce Howell for their appointments to serve as ‎American Bar ‎Association (ABA) Health Law Section leaders for the 2014-2015 Bar Year, ‎which begins on September 1, ‎‎2014, and ends on August 31, 2015. They are appointed to serve ‎in the following capacities:‎

Bruce is appointed to Vice Chair of the Physicians Legal Issues Conference and Vice ‎Chair of the Health ‎Lawyer Editorial Board.‎

Peter is appointed to Vice Chair of the Distance Learning Committee and Vice Chair of ‎eHealth, Privacy ‎& Security.‎

The Health Law Section is the voice of the national health law bar within the ABA.  Its ‎‎9,600 ‎members from across the United States represent clients in all segments of the health ‎care industry, ‎including physicians, hospitals, and other institutional providers, teaching and ‎research organizations, ‎managed care organizations and other third-party payers, ‎pharmaceutical companies, and device ‎manufacturers.  In addition, members work in ‎governmental health care programs, federal and state ‎regulatory bodies, and the academic ‎community. ‎
