Schwabe is known for its community involvement and leadership. The firm's attorneys currently serve in volunteer leadership positions in over 100 nonprofit organizations and industry associations. In 1991, Schwabe became the founder and provided the funding for a low-income legal clinic that serves the Hispanic population in east Multnomah County. Attorneys from the firm volunteer their time at the legal clinic on a weekly basis.
