Welcoming new
clients. All new clients will receive written
communication specifying the scope of legal services to
be provided, timeline, estimate of costs, and a list of
backup attorney and/or client team members, as well as
our attorneys' contact information.
Commitment to teamwork. Client service
teams are formed with the primary responsibility of guaranteeing
client satisfaction. For example, in the transfer of client
responsibility from one attorney to another, we require
careful advance planning by the team and in-person communication
between attorney and client. |
Immediate
response. All Schwabe lawyers are committed to
immediate response to communications from clients, whether
personally or through a delegate such as their secretary
or another lawyer. Prompt billing.
Clients will receive all bills promptly, with advance
personal review and accompanying communication by the
client's primary attorney.
Professional appearance. The firm's premises
and the appearance of our employees will always reflect
a high and uniform level of professionalism to clients
and visitors of our offices. Training and education.
Attorneys and staff attend regular education sessions
sponsored by the firm to improve their client service
skills.
Client University. A small part of Schwabe's
commitment to service. Each month Schwabe invites a key
client for lunch with our attorneys and staff. They talk,
we listen. We call it Client University and it is part
of our firm's ongoing commitment to learn about our clients'
businesses and industries. Guests of Client University
have included KeyBank, Oregon Steel Mills, Ankrom Moisan
Architects, Dentists Benefits Insurance Company, the Port
of Vancouver, and Portland Brewing. |
