Professional Experience

Christiane Fife focuses her practice on product liability litigation where she represents businesses involved in automotive, pharmaceutical, and medical device cases in federal, state, and multi-district proceedings. In addition, Ms. Fife regularly represents clients in consumer warranty disputes, disability and life insurance coverage, and premises liability adjudications. She also devotes considerable time to advising manufacturers, distributors and sellers on the enforceability of product warranties and in drafting product warranties, disclaimers, warnings and limitations of liability. She has been an attorney at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt since she became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2004.

Ms. Fife received her JD from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2004. During her time at Oregon she was Associate Director of the Moot Court Board, a student member of the Admissions Committee and a legal research and writing tutor for the director of the Legal Research and Writing program. Ms. Fife completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2000. During her undergraduate years Ms. Fife also spent a semester studying abroad in Seville, Spain.
