Professional Experience
Don Krahmer serves as co-chair of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt's Technology and Business Practice. Mr. Krahmer is a Shareholder who has become highly respected by Northwest businesses, investors and entrepreneurs for his knowledge and experience in corporate and securities law, with special emphasis on technology and growth companies. He represents a wide-range of public corporations, closely-held businesses, venture capital firms and individuals in business formations, corporate finance including debt and equity offerings (public and private), partnerships, securities compliance, officer and director liability, formation of foreign subsidiaries, contract negotiations and other business matters.

Mr. Krahmer also specializes in mergers and acquisitions, with particular knowledge in structuring and implementing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, divestitures and leveraged buyouts for private investors, equity and venture capital investment firms and public and privately-held corporations. He maintains a broad network of relationships with local and regional investment banking, equity investment, and venture capital firms, and local and regional angel investors, and has successfully worked with corporate leaders in identifying opportunities to meet their strategic business objectives.

Mr. Krahmer helps emerging and established technology firms with corporate structuring, strategic alliances, joint ventures, contract negotiations, complex business issues, international markets, protection of technology, trademarks and service marks, product and business identity, business finance and venture capital, business organization and taxation, licensing and distribution, executive compensation, employee benefits, incentives, agreements and shareholder matters.

Mr. Krahmer received the James B. Castles Leadership Award from the Oregon State Bar Business Law Section for excellence in the practice of business law, professionalism among fellow business lawyers and outstanding community leadership in 2002. Mr. Krahmer was also named in 2006 and 2007 by his peers as a "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics Magazine, a recognition only given to the top five percent of Oregon lawyers.

Before joining Schwabe in 2002, Mr. Krahmer was a partner at Black Helterline LLP, as well as advisor to Endeavour Capital, a regional investment company focused on Pacific Northwest companies; Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions and Director of Transactions for Pacificorp Financial Services; senior business analyst for Pacificorp, and served as a commercial banker for U.S. Bancorp and U.S. National Bank of Oregon. Mr. Krahmer currently serves on the Board of Directors of Pacific Continental Corporation and Pacific Continental Bank, headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, which has branches in the Eugene-Springfield area, Tualatin, Beaverton, Portland (KOIN Tower and Convention Center), Vancouver, WA, Seattle, WA and Bellevue, WA (NASDAQ Trading Symbol: PCBK). He serves as chairman of the Bank's Audit Committee and as a member of its Corporate Governance/Nominations Committee. He is a member of the Oregon Bankers Association and has participated in Audit Committee Chair Peer Group Summit the past four years at the Bank Audit Committee Conference sponsored by Corporate Board Member and Bank Director magazines in Chicago, IL. In 2010, Mr. Krahmer was elected to the Board of Directors of Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon, one of the region's leading health insurers.

Professional & Community Activities
Mr. Krahmer serves on the Boards of Directors of the Portland Business Alliance and Greenlight Greater Portland, on the Steering Committee of the Greater Portland Metropolitan Area Regional Business Plan and as a Technical Advisor to the Oregon Business Plan and the Oregon Innovation Council (Oregon, Inc.). He is currently a member of the Higher Education Task Force organized by Portland Business Alliance, Oregon Business Council, Oregon Business Association and Associated Oregon Industries and previously had served as Co-chair of the Regional Business Plan Task Force on Higher Education. Krahmer serves as Portland Business Alliance board liasion to Leadership Portland, a year long program to educate the greater Portland-Vancouver region's next generation of leaders and EMERGE, an initiative to build deeper and strong relationships between emerging and established leaders in the greater Portland-Vancouver region. He is active in the National Association of Corporate Directors, Pacific Northwest Chapter, American Electronics Association-Oregon Council, the Software Association of Oregon, Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum, RAINS, Micro2Nano Collaborative, the Oregon Biotechnology Association, the Oregon Creative Services Initiative, Portland Angel Network, Portland Venture Group and the New York New Media Association. He served as a Chairman and Founder of the Oregon Technology Alliance and a Founder and Senior Advisor for both the New Economy Coalition and the Innovation Network. He is former Chairman of Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum and serves as a member of OEF's Chairs Council.

Mr. Krahmer served as a Technical Advisor to the Oregon Council on Knowledge and Economic Development and as Chairman of Oregon Emerging Business Initiative, both organizations which he assisted in co-founding. He as also been active in the creation of private sector activities related to Oregon nanoscience and microtechnologies industries. Mr. Krahmer served as a founding member of the Board of Directors and Secretary for the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute, which is a joint collaboration among Oregon State University, University of Oregon, Portland State University, Oregon Health and Science University and Battelle's Pacific Northwest Labs. In 2004, Mr. Krahmer and Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt shareholder Al AuYeung founded the Pacific Northwest's first nanotechnology/microdevice practice. In 2005, he served on the Advisory Grant Committee for the BioScience Innovation Fund at Oregon Health & Science University. He is also a founding member of the Oregon Health Care Leadership Group and the Oregon Health Care IT Vendor Cluster Initiative. Mr. Krahmer is former legislative assistant to State Senator Jeannette Hamby (R-Hillsboro) and State Representative Delna Jones (R-Aloha) and served in Washington, DC, as a legislative intern for U.S. Senator Mark Hatfield (R-Oregon).

Mr. Krahmer is a past chairman of the Oregon State Bar Business Law Section Executive Committee and has served as a member of its Long-Range Planning and Outreach Committee. He has served as legal counsel to the Oregon Resource and Technology Development Account Board of Directors and has served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oregon. Mr. Krahmer served as President of the Arlington Club in 2004 on the Club's Board of Directors from 1999-2004. From 1998 to 2005, he served on the Executive Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Cascade Pacific Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2004, he received the Cascade Pacific Council's Silver Beaver Award, the highest recognition that the Council can bestow on a volunteer. Mr. Krahmer serves as a member of the Jesuit High School Board of Trustees and serves as a member of its Ignatian Identity Committee. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Mr. Krahmer is a member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Section and Negotiated Acquisitions, Small Business and Venture and Private Equity Finance Committees.
