Professional Experience Jennifer Campbell focuses her practice in Washington and Oregon on complex litigation matters, including product liability, professional negligence, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, food liability, and toxic torts, including benzene and asbestos claims. Her representative work includes: defense of product and food manufacturers in product liability lawsuits, defense of dentists and orthodontists in dental malpractice and licensure matters, defense of retail stores in personal injury lawsuits, and general defense of self-insured clients. She has effectively and successfully defended clients in state and federal courts at all stages of litigation including trials and arbitrations. She has handled appeals for clients in Washington's Courts of Appeals, Washington Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Campbell provides tailored, client-focused advice to her clients to assist them in achieving their desired outcomes in a cost-effective manner.
Ms. Campbell currently serves as the assistant practice group leader for the firm's product litigation group. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, she completed a clerkship with the Honorable Judge J. Dean Morgan at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II. In law school, she was actively involved in the Seattle University Law Review and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Charles Johnson at the Washington State Supreme Court. Ms. Campbell was ranked in the top of her class, achieving Dean's List every semester, and receiving other awards and scholarships for her academic distinction.
Ms. Campbell has been recognized by Washington Super Lawyers, which is an annual listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement; in 2012, she was named to the Top 50 Women Washington Super Lawyers list. She had previously been listed for inclusion in the Washington Rising Stars roster, which is an annual listing of the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Professional & Community Activities Ms. Campbell is a member of Seattle Rotary, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers, Risk Insurance Management Society, Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute. Ms. Campbell is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers. She also serves as the chair of the Public Relations Committee for that organization. Previously, she was the chair of its Product Liability Practice Section, Practice Development Committee, Committee Leadership and the Programs Committee.
