Professional Experience Troy Greenfield has a national commercial trial practice, emphasizing intellectual property, securities and bankruptcy-creditors' rights. He was lead litigation and trial counsel in the successful $375,000,000 fraudulent transfer and equitable subordination action, in which Mr. Greenfield's client the Yellowstone Club proved that a global financial institution engaged in predatory lending. Last year, he successfully defended a manufacturer against multi-million dollar trade practices claims, brought by a competing foreign manufacturer in Illinois Federal Court. Most recently, Mr. Greenfield and his team secured summary judgment dismissal of $26,000,000 securities claims against one of the most prominent broker-dealers in the country.
Mr. Greenfield is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Institute. For a number of years, he has been recognized for inclusion in Washington Super Lawyers for his work in commercial litigation. Mr. Greenfield was also selected by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine as a Top Lawyer in the area of intellectual property.
Mr Greenfield is the Partner-In-Charge of the Seattle office and serves on the firm's Board of Directors.
Civic Service Mr. Greenfield serves on the Board of Directors of the King County Boys & Girls Clubs.
Professional Activities Mr. Greenfield is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and its Intellectual Property, Alternate Dispute Resolution and Litigation Sections, as well as the Oregon State Bar Association and its Litigation Section. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
