Professional Experience Alex Poust joined the firm in 1992. He heads the firm's insolvency and restructuring group. Mr. Poust focuses his practice on general business and on creditors' and debtors' rights in bankruptcy. Professional & Community Activities Mr. Poust is a member of the Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Debtor/Creditor Sections of both the Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations. Mr. Poust is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a contributing editor to the American Bankruptcy Institute's "ABI Primer on Revised Article 9." He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
Mr. Poust has been an instructor at NACM-Oregon on several topics, including fundamentals of contracts, Uniform Commercial Code, and agency law. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Oregon College of Art and Craft and is a volunteer at the East County Legal Clinic.
