Pacific Northwest law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt recently announced the appointment of Garth Olson as Office Administrator of the firm’s Seattle office. As Office Administrator, Olson will oversee accounting, human resources, facilities and information services management. Olson brings to Schwabe an extensive knowledge of finance, strategic planning, client relations development and risk and pension management.
Prior to joining Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, Olson served as Executive Director for Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland, a 50-attorney law firm in Seattle. From 1998 to 2003, Olson was the Legal Administrator for Keating, Bucklin & McCormack, Inc., in Seattle where he managed 19 attorneys and assisted in areas of finance, strategic planning, human resources, marketing and client development.
Olson is an active member of the Puget Sound, Idaho, Big Sky and Minnesota chapters of ALA. From 1998 to 1999 he served as the President of the State of Idaho Legal Administrator Chapter. Olson holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin.
