Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt lawyer Greg Mallory recently qualified to compete in cross country skiing at the 2006 Paralympic Games to be held in Torino, Italy.
In addition to serving clients in the areas of securities and corporate law, Mallory is a member of the U.S. Ski Team and maintains a rigorous, year-round training schedule. In preparation for the 2006 Paralympics, Mallory will continue to race on the World Cup circuit, including races in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the U.S. during the 2004-05 season.
Mallory was paralyzed in an alpine skiing accident in 1994 and now races in a sit ski using a double poling motion. Mallory will join approximately 1,200 participants from more than 40 countries for the Games to be held March 10-19, 2006. Mallory’s races will include 5K, 10K and 15K distances.
At Schwabe, Mallory specializes in corporate finance and securities regulation law. He is also the co-founder and co-owner of ClayTablet, a company that provides professional legal documents. Mallory is a member of the Business and Securities Law Sections of the Oregon State Bar and the Business Law Section of the Washington State Bar. He graduated with a juris doctor degree and master’s degree in management from Willamette University and a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University.
