Schwabe continues its tradition of service and commitment to maritime history with the election of Eric A. Smith to a Board of Governors position with the Propeller Club, Port of the Columbia River Chapter. Six of our firm's admiralty lawyers have served as past presidents, including C. Kent Roberts, Dave Bartz, and Darien Loiselle. The Propeller Club of the Port of the Columbia River, chartered in 1936, is a nationally-affiliated non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and support of the maritime industry in and around the Columbia River region.
Mr. Smith joined Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt in 1998 and focuses his practice in the areas of general business and corporate law. His practice is primarily transactional, emphasizing the representation of closely-held businesses and maritime industry clients.
