Indian Country: Led by one of the country’s most experienced practitioners of environmental Native American law, our team is known for its deep understanding of the regulations and frameworks that impact reservation and Indian trust land. We work to protect natural resources, develop critical infrastructure, preserve tribal sovereignty, and enhance tribal governance.
We serve as outside general counsel to several tribes and advise many others on tribal enterprises involving real estate, economic development, business formation and federal government contracting, transactions, and tax planning.
We advise tribes on government programs such as the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development and HUBZone programs, and federal funding opportunities such as the American Rescue Plan and tribal broadband grant programs.
