Dr. Rose and Dr. Lawrence are the authors of "Hillary Clinton's Race for the White House: Gender Politics and Media on the Campaign Trail" (2009). Dr. Rose has also authored "Women and Executive Office: Pathways and Performance." Regina Lawrence is a nationally recognized authority on political communication, civic engagement, gender and politics, and the role of media in public discourse about politics and policy. She currently serves as the University of Oregon's Executive Director, George S. Turnbull Portland Center and Agora Journalism Center. Melody Rose is a nationally-recognized thought leader in higher education and the current president of Marylhurst University. She also founded PSU's Center for Women, Politics & Policy as well as chaired PSU's politics department for many years.
