John Tapogna to keynote Manufacturers’ Roundtable
John Tapogna, president of ECONorthwest, will kick off the Oregon Manufacturers’ Roundtable with a presentation on “Manufacturing’s role in the Oregon economy.” In addition to work on tax policy for Associated Oregon Industries (AOI) and other clients, Tapogna has provided economic analyses for the Oregon Business Plan. Prior to joining ECONorthwest, Tapogna was an analyst at the U.S. Congressional Budget Office, where he forecasted the nation’s welfare spending and estimated the cost of key congressional legislation.
