February 12, 2010
OverviewSchwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, a regional law firm with offices in Portland, Bend and Salem, Ore., and Seattle, Stevenson, and Vancouver, Wash., recently was honored by the Northwest Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) during its inaugural Your Honor awards presentation in the category of Best Promotional and Collateral Material for the firm's Business Owner's Guide to Litigation.
"We are truly honored to receive this distinction," said Mark Long, Schwabe's managing partner. "Our Business Owner's Guide to Litigation has become a valuable resource for business owners and we are so pleased with the amount of positive feedback we have received for it."
The Business Owner's Guide to Litigation was prepared by the attorneys at Schwabe with the intent to help guide business leaders in determining when they do, or do not, need the services of a lawyer, and what to expect from their lawyer in certain kinds of prospective, anticipated or actual litigation.
The LMA Northwest Chapter will host its Your Honor awards each year to recognize excellence in law firm marketing and communications programs. In total, six law firms were honored this year.
