Schwabe Attorney Joins Board of Stroum Jewish Community Center

Matthew Turetsky, a shareholder in the Seattle office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, recently joined the board of directors for Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC).

"The Stroum Jewish Community Center is an exceptional organization that provides much to the local community," said Mark Long, managing partner at Schwabe.  "I look forward to the outstanding contributions Matt is sure to make as a member of the board."

Turetsky focuses his litigation practice on resolving complex business disputes, and the defense of consumer claims and class-action claims against businesses, financial institutions, insurance companies and product manufacturers.  He has tried to verdict cases in the Superior Courts of Washington and Federal Court, jury trials, court trials, and arbitrations.  Turetsky graduated from Hastings College of Law, University of California, with a juris doctor degree.

The Stroum Jewish Community Center is dedicated to the enrichment of life for the Jewish and general communities in the greater Seattle area.  SJCC offers diverse programming, which includes community events, an early childhood school, parenting center, summer day camp, school's out program, before- and after-school care, kids and adult sports leagues, activities specifically for adults and seniors, and a variety of social, cultural and recreational programs.
