Dave Hepler, a shareholder in the Portland office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, recently joined the board of directors of Clackamas Service Center.

Clackamas Service Center, a nonprofit that has served the residents of Clackamas County since 1973, strives to overcome poverty by offering services that help individuals begin to care for themselves. Some of these services include providing groceries, clothing, meals and medical/dental care to low-income families.

Hepler focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions. He also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing buyers and sellers of timberlands, as well as advising timberland owners and forest product companies regarding all types of operational forest products issues. In 2008, 2009 and 2011, Hepler was named a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters, a distinction that recognizes outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Hepler graduated from the University of San Diego Law School with a juris doctor degree and was the Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego Law Review.
