March 2, 2017
Overview
The following is a paper I presented yesterday to the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Sections of the Oregon State Bar. In the paper I discuss recently-decided Supreme Court cases and those to be decided this term. However, the paper is primarily concerned with identifying trends I see in Federal Circuit decisions in areas such as induced and divided infringement, personal and subject matter jurisdiction, claim construction, patentable subject matter, inequitable conduct, obviousness, on sale bars and injunctive relief. Hopefully you will find this of interest.
