Additional 7 attorneys recognized as Rising Stars
This year, 32 attorneys from Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt’s Portland office have been listed on the Oregon Super Lawyers roster and an additional seven attorneys have been named Rising Stars. Annually, the Super Lawyers list recognizes outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Rising Stars list names the state’s top up-and-coming attorneys. Both lists are sponsored by Thomson Reuters.
The Schwabe attorneys recognized for the Super Lawyers list were chosen for their depth in practice areas including business litigation, construction litigation, employment and labor, estate planning and probate, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, transportation and maritime, and others.

To select the Rising Star attorneys each year, Thomson Reuters polls Oregon’s “Super Lawyers” to identify up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing law for ten or fewer years. While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent receive the distinction of being named to the Rising Stars list.
