Matthew Bisturis, an associate in the Vancouver office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, was recently elected president of The Parks and Recreation Foundation of Vancouver and Clark County.

The Parks Foundation’s mission is to raise funds through public and private partnerships in support of the parks, trails and recreation programs of Clark County in order to inspire kids of all ages to connect with nature. It accomplishes its mission by creating and nurturing innovative partnerships, administering strategic grants and establishing special funds to enhance recreational opportunities of the local area.

Bisturis focuses his practice in the areas of business and real estate transactions, including choice of entity and entity formations, business transition strategies, mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and general corporate and real estate matters. He works with public and private entities and individuals in various aspects of business and real estate transactions. Bisturis graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law with a juris doctor degree.
