This year, 35 attorneys from Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt have been listed on the Oregon Super Lawyers roster and an additional 13 attorneys have been named Rising Stars. Annually, the Super Lawyers list recognizes outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Rising Stars list names the state’s top up-and-coming attorneys. Both lists are sponsored by Thomson Reuters.

The Schwabe attorneys recognized in the Super Lawyers list were chosen for their depth in practice areas including business litigation, construction litigation, employment and labor, environment, estate planning and probate, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, transportation and maritime, and others. Additionally, Portland-based attorney Tom Dulcich was named to Oregon Super Lawyer’s “Top 50” list based on his nomination, research and peer-review scores.

ABOUT SUPER LAWYERS

The Super Lawyers list is published by Thomson Reuters and distributed as an insert in leading newspapers and regional magazines across the country. More than 60 practice areas are covered. To select attorneys for the list, Thomson Reuters uses a multistep selection process that takes approximately nine months. The foundation of the selection process is a survey sent to all lawyers who have been in practice for at least five years in states where the survey is conducted. In addition to the survey, Thomson Reuters researches credentials of nominees, assembles a blue-ribbon review panel of leading attorneys from each practice area, directly contacts lawyers and law firm representatives, verifies data and conducts a good-standing review of candidates.
