Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt has added two associates in its Portland office.

Dave Anderson focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation. He previously served as a clerk for the Honorable Robert Wollheim at the Oregon Court of Appeals, gaining extensive experience in legal analysis and appellate procedure. Prior to entering the legal profession, Anderson taught high school science and social studies in an underprivileged neighborhood in Miami, Florida, through Teach for America. Anderson graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 2009 with a juris doctor degree and from the University of Puget Sound in 2004 with a bachelor of arts degree.

Leora Coleman-Fire, a former summer associate at the firm, focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment law and is experienced in pretrial and trial motions, providing legal research, writing memoranda and document review. Prior to joining Schwabe, she served as a clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice, Special Litigation Unit where she worked on high-profile complex litigation issues ranging from defending constitutional challenges to preparing for settlement negotiations. Prior to entering the legal profession, Coleman-Fire provided healthcare services to the underserved through AmeriCorps and worked as the manager of a diabetes research group. Coleman-Fire graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2011 with a juris doctor degree and from Whitman College in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree.
