ABOUT SUPER LAWYERS

The Super Lawyers list is published by Thomson Reuters and distributed as an insert in leading newspapers and regional magazines across the country. More than 70 practice areas are covered. To select attorneys for the list, Thomson Reuters uses a multistep selection process that takes approximately nine months. The foundation of the selection process is a survey sent to all lawyers who have been in practice for at least five years in states where the survey is conducted. In addition to the survey, Thomson Reuters researches credentials of nominees, assembles a blue-ribbon review panel of leading attorneys from each practice area, directly contacts lawyers and law firm representatives, verifies data and conducts a good-standing review of candidates.
