Ricoy and Howell Appointed as Leaders in American Bar Association (ABA) Health Law Section
Overview
Congratulations to Peter Ricoy and Bruce Howell for their appointments to serve as American Bar Association (ABA) Health Law Section leaders for the 2014-2015 Bar Year, which begins on September 1, 2014, and ends on August 31, 2015. They are appointed to serve in the following capacities:
Bruce is appointed to Vice Chair of the Physicians Legal Issues Conference and Vice Chair of the Health Lawyer Editorial Board.
Peter is appointed to Vice Chair of the Distance Learning Committee and Vice Chair of eHealth, Privacy & Security.
The Health Law Section is the voice of the national health law bar within the ABA. Its 9,600 members from across the United States represent clients in all segments of the health care industry, including physicians, hospitals, and other institutional providers, teaching and research organizations, managed care organizations and other third-party payers, pharmaceutical companies, and device manufacturers. In addition, members work in governmental health care programs, federal and state regulatory bodies, and the academic community.
