The Seattle office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt recently added Joe Stockton as an associate.

Stockton focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, construction, real estate development and EB-5 financing. He has experience representing owners, contractors, subcontractors and hotel developers in federal and state courts and in arbitration.

Prior to joining Schwabe, Stockton served in the construction group at Ashbaugh Beal. During law school at the University of Washington, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Steven Gonzalez and was an associate editor-in-chief for the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal. Stockton also has experience as a commercial fisherman, a university instructor in China, and as a human rights legal advocate in Rwanda and Southeast Asia.

In addition to his Juris Doctor degree, Stockton also received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Washington. He is admitted to practice in Washington state.
