How I represent clients at Schwabe

I work with clients to address the unique legal challenges facing Alaska Native communities, Native entities, and non-Native business enterprises in Alaska. I bring a practical, interdisciplinary perspective rooted in understanding each client’s needs and delivering results-driven solutions.

Before joining Schwabe, I spent several years working in Alaska’s engineering and planning sectors. I earned my professional engineering license (PE) while designing sanitation infrastructure for rural tribal communities that are part of a large Alaska-based non-profit health organization network and later returned to support its Climate Initiatives Program. I also worked in tribal planning prior to joining the organization.

My educational background ranges from arctic engineering to environmental transactional law. I received my civil engineering degree from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. And, at the Richardson School of Law, I earned a certificate in Environmental Law while focusing on environmentally threatened communities in Alaska and internationally.
