Deric L. Luoto
Overview
Deric Luoto is an investigator for the firm. He uses a variety of techniques and technologies to provide attorneys and their clients with the most complete and current information possible. Deric has conducted over 30,000 hours of investigation for firm clients throughout Oregon, Washington, Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana and Arizona.
Deric is also a member of the firm's Trial Technology group, working closely with trial lawyers to design and implement digital evidence presentation systems. He has helped employ sophisticated presentation software and hardware platforms in over 60 trials, mock trials and hearings. He is a Certified Courtroom Technologist through the William and Mary School of Law Courtroom 21 Project and The National Center for State Courts.
Deric has been a guest lecturer regarding courtroom technology to the U.S. District Court of Oregon, Oregon Federal Bar Association, Oregon State Bar, National Business Institute and the Oregon Paralegal Association.
