Pacific Northwest regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is partnering with JLL and Silicon Valley Bank, to bring together the technology and investment communities for the third annual NW Technology Showcase event beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at Ruby Receptionists.

The event’s theme this year is “The Great Migration: An Inside Look at the New Tech Players in Town” and features a panel discussion that will explore the ‎perspectives and experiences of companies that were founded or are based elsewhere and have ‎either relocated to Portland or who have established a significant presence here. Attendees will hear ‎about what brought the company to Portland, what’s going well, how has Portland been a good place ‎to grow, and what about the local ecosystem they would you like to see improved. It’s an opportunity for the tech community to come together, hear from a few new faces and ‎also welcome them to the Portland tech scene.‎

In addition, seven local startup companies will showcase their innovations on the tradeshow floor: Stackery, Mogol, Tozny, Hubb, VR Motion, Server Dome and Moonshadow Mobile.
