Of Counsel

How I represent clients at Schwabe

I help clients buy, sell, develop, and lease commercial real estate. Drawing on more than 10 years as in-house counsel for a commercial real estate company, I have led more than $500 million in acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and leasing transactions across multiple jurisdictions, guiding deals from letter of intent through closing and beyond.

Because I spent my career inside a real estate company, I understand how legal decisions affect deal economics, timelines, and long-term business goals. I worked side by side with acquisitions and development teams and advised executive leadership on real estate strategy, risk mitigation, and corporate governance. That perspective helps me give clients practical legal advice with the aim of keeping transactions moving while protecting their interests.

My practice includes negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, easements, declarations and restrictive covenants, and public-private partnerships, as well as conducting title review and cure, due diligence, entitlements, land use, eminent domain, and environmental matters.
