My philosophy is to provide effective, timely communication and advice based on each client’s specific needs and demands.
How I represent clients at Schwabe
With over 20 years of experience, I help clients lease, purchase, sell, and finance real property in Oregon and Washington. My work spans complex transactions as well as smaller deals for start-ups and family-owned businesses. As the former chair of Schwabe’s Real Estate and Land Use practice group, I bring both leadership and market insight to every matter.
Leasing
I represent institutional and private landlords and tenants in office, industrial, and retail leasing. Having negotiated hundreds of leases, I guide clients toward the most valuable terms for their goals and efficiently handle related documents such as subordination agreements, tenant estoppels, and franchise addenda.
Purchasing and Selling
I handle acquisitions and dispositions of all types of property, including office towers, shopping centers, warehouses, bare land, agricultural land, and ranches. I focus on clear, proactive communication to keep transactions on track and deadlines met, leveraging my network of real estate, land use, and environmental professionals when needed.
Financing
I represent both lenders and borrowers in real estate financing, from large institutional loans to smaller transactions. My background includes drafting and negotiating loan documents and delivering efficient, practical solutions in financing matters.
