I strive to help clients understand not only what the law requires, but how legal, business, and policy considerations intersect. By combining rigorous analysis with practical problem-solving, I help clients navigate disputes and challenges with confidence and clarity.
How I represent clients at Schwabe
As a litigator focused on manufacturing, natural resources, and Indian Country matters, I help clients navigate complex disputes with practical judgment, thoughtful analysis, and a focus on achieving business objectives. My practice includes commercial litigation and appeals in federal and state courts, where I have represented manufacturers, real estate developers, and other businesses facing high-stakes legal challenges.
I also advise clients on issues involving tribal law and policy. My experience includes contributing to U.S. Supreme Court amicus briefs addressing tribal sovereignty and water rights, as well as co-teaching Federal Indian Law. These experiences give me a deep understanding of the legal, historical, and policy considerations that shape matters involving tribes, tribal enterprises, and businesses operating in Indian Country.
Prior to Schwabe, I worked for a prominent East Coast law firm. I also clerked for the Connecticut Supreme Court and served at the U.S. Department of Justice, where I worked on environmental, constitutional, and Indian law matters. Those experiences continue to inform the strategic, practical counsel I provide to clients navigating complex litigation and regulatory issues.
