• Obtained a defense verdict in a seven-day federal jury trial representing a business client and a newly hired employee against a competitor alleging contractual interference and violations of non-compete, non-solicit, and confidentiality provisions in an employment agreement. The competitor sought more than $10 million in damages.
• Obtained a favorable settlement halfway through a two-week federal jury trial on behalf of a client in a case involving alleged breaches of post-termination restrictive covenants, including non-solicitation, non-acceptance, and non-servicing restrictions, as well as claims related to confidential information and trade secrets.
• Won a temporary restraining order (TRO) and preliminary injunction, following a bench trial, on behalf of a construction company against a former shareholder who had violated the post-termination restrictive covenants of the company’s shareholder agreement.
• Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of a technology sales company against former employee on claims arising from post-termination restrictive covenants, including non-solicitation covenants, in the employment agreement, as well as claims under the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA).
• Won a TRO on behalf of a college athlete against the NCAA on antitrust and breach of contract claims.
• Won dismissal for a corporate client in a case alleging securities fraud and breaches of fiduciary duty.
• Secured summary judgment for a manufacturing client in a lawsuit alleging disability discrimination and harassment.

Transportation, Railroad, and Product Liability Litigation

• Secured dismissal with prejudice of a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of a commercial trucking company through successful pretrial motion practice resulting in the exclusion of a medical causation expert.
• Won a favorable verdict after a three-week jury trial for a Class I railroad against claims brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA).
• Obtained a favorable settlement after a three-week jury trial for a Class I railroad against FELA claims.
• Won summary judgment for a Class I railroad, securing full indemnity against a third-party defendant in litigation involving a defective product and breaches of a supply agreement.
• Won summary judgment for a sports apparel company in a multimillion-dollar product liability lawsuit.
