Eric focuses on intellectual property and is part of the firm’s Technology industry group. Particularly, Eric has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications for a variety of semiconductor and electronics technologies. His degree in materials engineering with a focus on semiconductor technologies allows him to communicate clearly and effectively with inventors and decision makers in high-tech environments. Eric has experience working with companies of all sizes, including Fortune 100 corporations and start-ups.

Ryan Dumm

Ryan helps commercial, civil and residential construction companies assess risk, negotiate transactions and resolve disputes. His experience spans public and private work, alternative contractual arrangements such as general contractor/construction manager projects, lien law, bonding, construction insurance, scheduling, indemnity and bid challenges, among other areas.

Garrett helps clients navigate all facets of land use law, and has extensive experience in permitting residential, urban, industrial, and natural resource development projects throughout Oregon. A former urban planner, Garrett has a valuable perspective on local government decision making, a practical understanding of project management and delivery, and strong appellate advocacy skills to defend project approvals. Garrett uses these skills and experience to provide sound counsel to clients considering any aspect of a development project.
