Anna Helton, an associate in the Portland office of regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, recently joined the board of directors for the Artists Repertory Theatre. In addition to Helton’s involvement with Artists Repertory Theatre, Schwabe supports many other arts organizations throughout Oregon including Business for Culture and the Arts, Oregon Symphony, Oregon College of Art & Craft and Oregon Cultural Trust, to name a few.

“The Artists Repertory Theatre provides a truly valuable service to the local arts community and I am excited to see the wonderful contributions that Anna will make as a member of its board,” said Mark Long, Schwabe’s managing partner.

Helton joined Schwabe in 2005 and focuses her practice in the area of commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for Public Affairs Counsel in Salem, Oregon. Helton graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School with a juris doctor degree.

The Artists Repertory Theatre began in 1982 by six artists looking for an opportunity to present the work of contemporary playwrights in an intimate setting. Now in its 28th year, the Artists Repertory Theatre continues its mission of providing a platform for local artists to present their work and allowing the local community to experience the performing arts.
