Donald L. Krahmer, Jr., a shareholder at regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, recently joined the Community Board of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon.

Krahmer brings more than 20 years of professional and community experience to his new role with the Regence Oregon Community Board. He is respected by Northwest businesses, investors and entrepreneurs for his knowledge and experience in corporate and securities law, with special emphasis on technology and growth companies. Krahmer currently serves as co-chair of Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt’s Technology and Business Practice.

In addition to his law practice, he also serves as a member of the board of directors of Pacific Continental Bank (NADAQ: PCBK) as well as chairman of the bank’s Audit Committee and a member of its Corporate Governance/Nominations Committee.

Krahmer has been honored in the community with numerous awards including recognition by the Oregon State Bar Business Law Section with the James B. Castles Leadership Award for excellence in the practice of business law, professionalism among fellow business lawyers and community leadership. He is deeply involved in the community currently serving on the board of directors of the Portland Business Alliance, Greenlight Greater Portland, Jesuit High School, the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center at Oregon Health and Sciences University, and as a technical advisor to the Oregon Innovation Council.
