How I represent clients at Schwabe

I’m an experienced commercial litigator known for obtaining results in and out of the courtroom. I represent a wide variety of clients from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies in disputes involving contracts, environmental issues, partnership and landlord/tenant law. In the duration of my legal career, I have taken and defended over 75 depositions, argued cases to the Court of Appeals, briefed and argued dispositive motions, arbitrated and mediated cases, and represented clients in state and federal trials throughout Oregon.

Testimonials

“Working with Sara has been an exceptional experience. From day one, she has been incredibly approachable, responsive, and empathetic—qualities that make complex legal matters far less intimidating for her clients. This was my first experience appearing in court as a key defendant and witness, and naturally I was anxious about the process. Sara took the time to explain every step, answer every question, and ensure I felt prepared and confident throughout the proceedings.

Sara’s legal expertise is outstanding. Her depth of legal research, attention to detail, and ability to build a compelling case strategy were evident throughout our engagement. Watching her in trial was genuinely impressive—she is thoughtful, composed, persuasive, and exceptionally well-prepared. She has a natural ability to connect with people, and it was clear that her credibility and authenticity resonated strongly with the jury. In fact, members of the jury specifically commented on how much they appreciated her demeanor and presentation.

Beyond her legal skills, Sara consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for her client. She combines sharp legal acumen with genuine care for the people she represents, a combination that is rare and invaluable. I would recommend Sara without hesitation to anyone seeking an attorney who is not only highly skilled in the courtroom but also a trusted advisor and advocate.” – Ankur Mittal, Co-Founder and CEO, Axeno
