I enjoy helping clients understand all aspects of the ‎bankruptcy and restructuring system, how bankruptcy can ‎work for them, and the relief it can provide.

How I represent clients at Schwabe

My practice is focused on complex bankruptcy and ‎restructuring matters, representing debtors, secured ‎creditors, trustees, and creditors’ committees in both ‎federal bankruptcy proceedings and state court ‎receiverships. I have served as lead counsel in numerous ‎Chapter 11 cases across Washington and Montana and ‎have appeared on behalf of clients in several jurisdictions, ‎including Alaska and Delaware. I handle the many aspects ‎of case strategy and administration, from initial client ‎intake and preparation of schedules to motion practice, ‎legal research, and negotiations with creditors.‎

In addition to my client-facing work, I bring deep ‎experience from within the bankruptcy system. I previously ‎managed the U.S. Trustee’s Seattle field office and spent ‎almost a decade serving in chambers with a Ninth Circuit ‎bankruptcy judge. This combined perspective allows me to ‎approach each matter with a practical, strategic ‎understanding of both the legal and procedural landscape.‎
