Industry focus
Developing relationships and deep understanding drives strategy and successful outcomes.
How I represent clients at Schwabe
By focusing on the power of innovation, I help manufacturing companies and research institutions navigate the full life cycle of technology development, protection, commercialization, and intellectual property enforcement to maximize business value. With years of experience advising innovation-driven organizations, I understand the importance of research, development, and technological advancement as critical business assets, and what it takes to protect those assets effectively. I also provide strategic counseling to organizations seeking to expand their offerings, strengthen competitive positioning, or deploy resources more intentionally.
In addition to my client work, I serve as the firm’s Consumer Products, Manufacturing and Retail Industry Group Leader, where I help shape strategy, foster collaboration, and support growth initiatives across these sectors.
A passion for how things work
I love the intricate mechanics that make things work, from the thermodynamics of a specialized fabric to the technology behind devices that improve medical outcomes. That curiosity has fueled a diverse technical background spanning outdoor and athletic products, mechanical devices, biotechnology, and medical devices. This broad foundation allows me to quickly understand my clients’ innovations and develop strong, practical patent protection strategies to help safeguard their work and support long-term business success.
