How I represent clients at Schwabe

I am a privacy and technology attorney who helps my clients harness the value of data while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Drawing on experience in both in-house and law firm roles, I advise SaaS, AI, and other technology-driven companies on privacy, data governance, cybersecurity, technology transactions, and regulatory compliance.

Drawing on my experience leading an in-house legal function, my practice focuses on helping organizations develop and refine privacy and compliance programs that are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. I work closely with executive leadership, product, marketing, and sales teams, engineers, and operational stakeholders to integrate privacy considerations into products, services, and business processes from the outset. By embedding privacy considerations into decision-making early, organizations can reduce risk, strengthen customer trust, and bring innovative solutions to market more efficiently.

I counsel clients on a broad range of privacy and technology matters, including compliance with domestic and international privacy laws, data governance frameworks, consumer rights obligations, cross-border data transfers, vendor and third-party risk management, incident response preparedness, and emerging issues surrounding artificial intelligence and the responsible use of data. I also negotiate and advise on complex commercial agreements involving data processing, technology licensing, and cloud-based services.

Clients value my ability to translate complex privacy and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance that supports strategic business goals. I believe effective privacy counsel should not be a barrier to innovation, but a partner in enabling it. Whether helping a company establish a privacy program, navigate a sensitive data issue, or respond to evolving regulatory requirements, my goal is to provide practical solutions that allow organizations to move forward with confidence.
