Schwabe Announces Eight New Shareholders
Attorneys promoted in Portland and Seattle
Pacific Northwest regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt announced that David Boyajian, Sara Cotton, Bradley Maier, Michael Moore, William Ohle,Yvonne Tingleaf , Farron Curry and Vladimir Raskin have been named shareholders in the firm.

Boyajian focuses his practice on maritime litigation and transactions. He helps vessel owners, operators, insurers, naval architects, and shipyards and shipbuilders with maritime contracts and all aspects of claims investigation, management and resolution. His transactional practice involves charters, bills of lading, tariffs, vessel design and vessel build, and other maritime contracts.
Cotton focuses her practice in commercial litigation. She is an experienced litigator known for obtaining results for her clients in and out of the courtroom. Cotton represents a wide variety of clients from small business to Fortune 100 companies. Her breadth of experience spans complex commercial disputes involving contracts, environmental issues, landlord tenant law, and partnership. She has taken and defended over 75 depositions, argued her cases to the Court of Appeals, briefed and argued dispositive motions, arbitrated and mediated her cases, and represented her clients in state and federal trials throughout Oregon.
Maier serves as an international business attorney with a focus on U.S. immigration and customs law and compliance. His clients include foreign and domestic corporations, local businesses, investors, and families and individuals with a wide range of immigration matters.
Moore focuses on intellectual property, including patent prosecution, patent review/analysis for proper claim interpretation, advising clients on patent strategies to maximize intellectual property protection, drafting trademark applications and provisional patent applications, licensing support, and other related transactional matters. His clients include those in mechanical and electrical technologies, computer structures, telecommunications technologies and alternative energy.
Ohle represents architects and engineers in professional liability and ethics cases and public utilities and industries in utility matters. He has handled construction defect defense for architects and engineers and assisted with transactions between private interests and investor-owned and publicly owned utilities, including negotiating power purchase agreements involving renewable energy resources and conventional energy resources.
Curry is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on complex litigation involving commercial, employment, and product liability claims. Her trial experience allows her to advise clients who are facing business and employment-related disputes on how to avoid lawsuits. She regularly gives advice and presentations on issues such as employee discipline and termination, discrimination and harassment, disability and accommodation, non-compete agreements, and warranty and consumer protection issues.
Raskin focuses on intellectual property and conducting patent prosecution and counseling. His clients include those in the fields of telecommunications, electrical engineering, electronics, Internet, software and mechanical technologies.
