Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt recently added Jennifer Woodhouse as a tax associate in its Portland office. Prior to joining Schwabe, she was a staff attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oregon in the organization’s Statewide Tax Clinic.

Woodhouse focuses her practice in the area of state and federal tax controversies and estate planning. She has experience representing clients at all levels of the examination process and in state and federal tax court matters. Woodhouse is a member of the Oregon State Bar as well as the U.S. Tax Court. Woodhouse is also a member of the estate planning and administration section of the Oregon State Bar and advises clients to achieve their estate planning goals.

In addition to her legal practice, Woodhouse currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s Taxation Section and is active on various bar committees. She is a graduate of the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College.

Schwabe conducts an integrated tax law practice, relating to corporate and partnership tax planning, property and excise taxes, employee benefits, estate and succession planning, probate, and related areas. The firm’s tax lawyers serve profit and nonprofit corporations, limited liability companies, professional corporations, partnerships, and trusts and estates in a variety of tax matters.
