How I represent clients at Schwabe
I guide high-net-worth clients through some of the most important decisions they will make—how to pass on what they have built. I help clients navigate tricky processes, such as the acquisition and disposition of commercial property, financing transactions, and the organization and formation of companies, in addition to advising on estate planning and trust matters, including taxable estates. Estate planning and trust administration are at the core of my practice, but I understand that for most of my clients, these needs do not exist in isolation. They have businesses to structure, properties to manage, and estates to protect, and those pieces can be deeply connected. My background in business and real estate law allows me to address client’s needs in a coordinated way, offering advice tailored to the full picture of a client’s assets.
Trust administration is central to my estate planning practice, and I know it works best when all the right people are working together. I collaborate closely with financial advisors, fiduciaries, banks, and other trusted parties, with the goal of providing a process that is clear, organized, and aligned with my clients’ wishes. Throughout my years in private practice, my main areas of focus have been estate planning, commercial real estate transactions, business law, and senior housing. That depth of experience gives me a well-rounded perspective on the challenges my clients face—and the insight to guide them through even the most complex situations with confidence.
