How I represent clients at Schwabe

I have spent my career assisting clients with their business and tax needs, including estate planning to preserve the wealth they have accumulated. At this stage in my practice, I am focusing only on estate planning, as well as probate and trust administration.

My goal in helping my clients is to consider how we can most effectively transfer assets to future generations or charities, in a manner that achieves the client’s overall goals. With my tax and accounting background, I have a unique perspective on minimizing estate and income taxes, and during the planning process I work with my clients to consider options to minimize such taxes.

I strive to assist clients in establishing an overall estate plan that looks at the unique facets of their family and their family’s assets. It is important to me to reduce the chances for conflicts among heirs so they can all enjoy the benefits of the family’s wealth and preserve it for future generations. My practice focuses on putting together a comprehensive estate plan, and then, if needed, helping the family with the probate and trust administration issues.
